Technics introduce: Chrome plating
Chrome plating
Electroplating hard chrome is generally applied to the surface of the product position of the mold.
advantages after chrome plating
1. The surface is smooth, clean and easy to demould, in order to ensure the smoothness and smoothness of the product.
2., it will not rust, and there will be no rust spots at all.
3. The deformation of the original parts is small during the plating process, and the hardness (above HR65) can be enhanced after the surface layer is plated with chrome.
4. if the size of the parts is not in place, the size can be achieved by adding a few c chromium.
5. According to the characteristics of the product, it can achieve visual and three-dimensional effects to ensure the stable surface quality of the product.
Others: In addition to chrome plating, titanium plating is also available. At present, the most popular domestic mold is titanium plating.
Chrome Electroplating
● Decorative Chrome 0.001-0.003mm
● Wear resistance chrome plating 0.05-0.1mm
● Restoration Size Chrome plating should be determined according to the degree of wear, and it should be ground after a certain thickness.
Chrome plating treatment
preprocessing
In general, steel parts are plated with black chrome, and most of them use copper or nickel as the bottom coating, while high-end products often use copper, nickel milky white chrome, and black chrome combined coatings as protective decorative coatings. The copper alloy parts can be directly plated with black chrome after pretreatment such as degreasing and pickling, while the high-end products are plated with nickel as the bottom coating, and then plated with black chrome, which has better protective decoration effect.
post-processing
After the parts of electroplated black chrome products are cleaned and dried, if they are sealed with hot oil, their protective and decorative effect will be further improved, and organic transparent coatings are also sprayed on the surface to greatly improve the protective and decorative effect.
