Bosch China to start mass production of intelligent driving 3.0 platform in 2023
Bosch China’s R&D team has been working on an advanced intelligent driving 3.0 platform, which will be ready for large-scale production in 2023, the senior vice president of Bosch China’s intelligent driving and control unit, Zheng Xinfen said at the China EV100 Forum.
In order to build the intelligent driving 3.0 platform, Bosch has incorporated its years of experience in the automotive intelligence field, its capability in sensors, software, and hardware with mainstay domestic suppliers, providing compliance and safe ADAS and autonomous driving application for clients.
Aside from ADAS, Bosch has also been actively laying out in the L4 autonomous driving area. The company aims to help automakers achieve mass production of advanced autonomous driving on their vehicle models, eventually covering the entire in-city and high-speed roads in China.
Notably, Bosch is developing an integrated platform for intelligent driving and cockpit that complies with the central electronic and electrical architecture. The company is working on the development of a cross-domain SOA software platform, that supports the different requirements of intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit via a single set of middleware.
When the technology and industrial chain mature, Bosch will then provide customers with central controllers for a comprehensive experience.
